We are recruiting a Bookstore Manager to lead the operations of our establishment in Casablanca. This central role combines stock management, team leadership, and cultural activities. Aimed at a profile with a strong general knowledge and a keen commercial sense, this position requires the ability to maintain our standards of excellence while ensuring exemplary operational fluidity on a daily basis.

Person Specification

  • Master's degree in literature, languages or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a bookstore or a similar position.
  • Strong general knowledge, a sense of commerce and customer service.
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written).
  • Leadership, rigor and team spirit.
  • Proficiency with digital tools.

Missions

  • Manage and run the sections of the bookstore according to the defined themes.
  • Ensure the relevance of the offer, merchandising, and promotion of the products.
  • Welcome and advise customers to ensure a quality experience.
  • To guide and motivate the sales team around the objectives and values of the bookstore.
  • Track sales, profitability, and inventory management.
  • Participate in the organisation of events (signings, showcases, activities, etc.).
